Add the extension to Chrome
Chrome shows the exact access requested before installation. OpenBooks is limited to its filing workspace and the Hawaiʻi CFS and NCFS pages.

Return to OpenBooks
This page checks for the assistant in your browser. No separate extension account or government password is required.

Approve one transaction
OpenBooks sends only the transaction you approved. The assistant opens CFS and keeps the values visible beside the state form.

Review the state screen
The treasurer checks the populated fields and controls every final save, certification, and report submission.
Before Web Store approval
Pilot installations are supervised.
Chrome does not permit a website to silently install an extension. During the controlled pilot, OpenBooks provides the reviewed package and walks the treasurer through Chrome’s developer-mode installation over a live support session.
This is temporary. Customer self-installation begins when the Chrome Web Store listing is approved.
