Get the filing assistant connected.

Install from the Chrome Web Store

1. Choose Add to Chrome on the OpenBooks installation page.
2. Review the requested access, then choose Add extension.
3. Chrome opens the OpenBooks installation-complete page automatically.
4. Choose Open campaign workspace and select the company you intend to file for.

After installing

1. Return to the OpenBooks filing queue.
2. Confirm the extension card says Filing assistant installed.
3. Choose Connect to this workspace and confirm the campaign name.
4. Approve one transaction with no missing fields.
5. Select Enter in CFS.
6. Sign in to CFS yourself and review the transaction beside the state form.

If the wrong campaign is connected

Open the intended campaign workspace and choose Connect to this workspace. OpenBooks revokes the browser's earlier workspace token when the new pairing succeeds.

If OpenBooks cannot detect it

• Use Chrome or Edge on a desktop computer.
• Open chrome://extensions and confirm the assistant is enabled.
• Reload the OpenBooks tab after enabling or updating it.
• Confirm you are not using an Incognito window unless the extension was explicitly allowed there.
